OM-16, Optical Multiplexer

Olencom`s OM-16 series products, T1/E1/Combination optical multiplexer, are optical transmission equipments for up to 16 T1/E1/Combination signals transmitted through the fibre link. The T1/E1 signals are transmitted over optical fibre for better quality and longer transmission distance. Besides, OM-16 provides many value-added functions to meet customs? needs. It is a very flexible and efficient way to use the OM-16 in your optical transmission network for voice, data, and wireless applications.
OM-16 provides network management system for local/remote maintenance purpose by a friendly GUI way. The alarm-auto-report makes user treat network failure as soon as possible. The user also can monitor all electrical/optical interfaces according to performance monitoring. OM-16 supports SNMP Orderwire. OM-16 also provide dipswitches and LED indications for field application.
On optical transmission line, the OM-16 products provide two fibre links for 1+1 protection. The E1/T1 electrical interfaces meet the ANSI/ Bellcore/ITU-T requirements. The code and line compensation for E1/T1 electrical interfaces are field selectable. There are 4 miscellaneous inputs for monitoring alarms of environments.
